Spring DIY Craft for Toddlers | Painting Paper Flowers

Looking for a simple Spring DIY Craft for all ages? I have a gorgeous and fun activity just for you. Every week I’ve been sharing a simple theme on Instagram that we’re doing around our home. This theme doesn’t need to be anything crazy – it just helps me stay creative and excited about activities for our family. A few weeks ago our theme was baking and last week it was building! This week the theme is Spring. So of course, I wanted to paint some fun flowers to add to our window!

Simple Spring Activity Ideas for All Ages

These simple and fun activities are great for engaging your children, of all ages, in some educational and FUN activities!

Spring DIY Craft

In order to create this Spring DIY Craft in your household, you can print out my simple floral patterns from my free Resource Library. Get access HERE! Depending on your child’s age, have fun painting the flowers or place them in a Ziploc bag, with some paint, as we did below! I even added in a few flowers printed on colorful cardstock and not painted to include some pops of color.

Simple Painting Activity for Your Toddler

For older kids, you can let them paint or color in all of the flower pieces! If you paint inside a ziploc bag, be forewarned that removing the pieces is a messy process! If you don’t have a laminator, no problem! Just be extra careful removing the pieces because the paper can tear after getting wet from the paint.
